I had a lay in...... 6.25 am Ds3 then woke up and I heard him walk into the hall, so I looked at him and he said 'Mum, you do realise that its morning!!'

Going to try to take my 4ds's to the cinema this am to watch Monsters vs Aliens, I am hoping that ds4 (21mths) will sit through it - 94 mins! and then we have to come home as we have the in-laws over for tea.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning!

Good luck at the cinema, mums. I believe it is really good and the 3D effects are great!

I will be doing EYP stuff today. But first I want COFFEE!!!!!!

looneytune · 09/05/2009 08:48

Morning.

Mums - have fun at the cinema - you're braver than me

No4 - hope you get lots done, make sure you have lots of breaks!

Well, I'm not sure what I'm doing today yet. Had loads of work planned including moving furniture upstairs and build ds1's new cot (got from mindee) but after yesterday, I'm just going to see how I feel. At least I'm not feeling sick anymore and only threw up the once in the end. Just about to eat for the first time and hopefully I'll feel better as I really NEED to get this stuff done!!! Aswell as the massive pile of paperwork

Doesn't it get you all down the amount of 'family time' we miss out on because of all this stuff

Right, taking my toast back to bed. Catchya later x

looneytune · 09/05/2009 08:48

sorry, ds2's new cot!

KatyMac · 09/05/2009 08:49

Looney - I don't think my DD believes family time includes me

If I go too it is odd and somehow annoying for all of us

coolj · 09/05/2009 09:08

Morning!

Just eating my toast/tea and watching Spongebob.

Got an 8ft pile of ironing to do, as well as all the housework. Last year I bought a caravan to retreat to at weekends, but I just cant find time to use it .

Have a good day.

so much for EYP..... got side tracked sorting and cleaning toys and DH is putting together a gorgeous big new bookshelf for me!! maybe i can put all this prep down to getting ready for my setting visit in July.

[scared sh*tless emoticon]

Monsters vs Aliens didn't happen, we watched Coraline. What a weird film!! Ds2 sat on his own, ds4 fell asleep on me, ds3 got a little wiggly at the end but was really good, and ds1 just sat there eating his sweets and drinking his drink!!

Coolj - I mamnaged to do my ironing before we left this morning - 7 of ds1's school shirts. I only iron shirts, I do not see the point of ironing anything else when it just gets screwed up and put in drawers!! Sorry that you don't seem to be able to use your van

Katy - sorry to hear about your family time

Looney - I am trying my hardest at the moment to make sure that I have some family time with the boys, as dh is away in Tokyo and I work all week so don't want to feel pushed away - saying that though my accounts are looking at me from the side (and my accountant has sent me a letter), I have to look at some safeguarding children info for a mindees dad, and also need to look atwhat if any help dh's god daughter can get for child care

No4 - Good luck with the EYP, just remember sometimes it is good to have a break or you will end up giving up

Hi everyone Know I'm not cm'ing anymore but wanted tosee what you were all up to!

I have my accounts to sort too mums when I started minding I used to do them every sunday morning, somehow that fell by the wayside for other more 'important' paperwork. Was coraline good? I like weird.

coolj - I am very ruthless too about what needs ironing, not much shirts and that's about it!

Looney - hope you get back to feelin better soon, take it easy!

Katymac - Hi

No4 - hope you got some work done, must be a daunting task!

Hi all. Took DD (age 9) to a dance competition yesterday. Tied her ballet shoe ribbons too tight, so she couldn't point her toes - (bad Mummy). Of to more dancing today (no ribbons thank God). Anyway ... school sent note home last week to say they have QCA tests this week and it is very important they have lots of sleep. So ... we'll be dancing in London til 10:30 tonight and on Wednesday I am having to leave her abandoned at dancing til 9:30, so I can go to my OU tutorial (DH away on holiday). Somehow I also have to finish the minded kids reports, which were due at end of April (oops!).

nannynick · 10/05/2009 13:45

I am half way up Snowdon. I know that because I'm in a cafe called Half Way House.
3mobile 3G signal works, thus I am able to Mumsnet.

mumsanutter · 10/05/2009 14:47

Wonder what sort of places people have logged in from??

Dh logged into facebook, when we were at the top of table mountain this april!!

Took my boys for a walk to the park today with their bikes and scooters and when we got there the playarea was closed
