another au pair question

there are lot sof nice sounding au pairs from brazil and i certainly remember some threads with people talking about hteir brazilian au pairs - but do they need a visa ? we only want one for the summer so not sur eif htey need a visa , also need to know if you cna have an american au pair if it is only for 3 months ?

EU, Australia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand.
Those are the only countries you can recruit from, following the immigration changes.

EU & EEA (coupe of Western European countries not in the EU) plus the four nick mentions, so not Brazil, Philipines and more surprisingly the USA (which was permissable under the old blue card scheme).
