The children have a exciting day today, it is the dress rehearsal of DH's Opening Show today (although DH is not actually in it, he is on resettlement now)

Anyway I digress, we are all off to watch it, the Band will be playing and march (youngest mindee's Mum is in the Band)

The Motor Bikes will be displaying (Oldest SAHMindee's Dad is in the team)

The Parachutists will be jumping.

And we will be picnicking

Wow

Can I come?

I am having Reflexology, going to the library then childminding from 12........

Shoshe · 23/04/2009 06:24

It will be lovely, the sun is already shining here.

I may have to have my only boy mindee on my lap, as he is not very keen on loud noises, but I am hoping he will be fine as both Mum and Dad have bikes.

Cor, sounds like a brilliant day.

I'm not working until 3pm today, so going into walton with ds4 to meet a friend while ds3 is at nursery.

Numberfour · 23/04/2009 07:13

That sounds wonderful, Shoshe
And at your reflexolody, Katy and at Mumns late start.

I feel awful with my cold today. Went to bed at 6.45, and slept so well, but I am not feeling great at all.

Fortunately I am not that busy. No toddler group for me. Will stay at home, keeping children fed and watered and safe and entertained (can Cbeebies do the entertaining today??)

KatyMac · 23/04/2009 07:28

I'm sure cbeebies can today

I love sunshine

Shoshe · 23/04/2009 07:35

Morning everyone.

Today & tomorrow is paperwork days (still no mindees).

Shoshe - can you send the clouds away over here so the sun can dry my washing and I can then sit in the garden to do my work.

Hope everyone has a great day.

mumsanutter · 23/04/2009 07:51

No 4 - of courese cbeebies can help you today, and do what shoshe says let the children loose out side it works wonders (if it works for my 4 year old it should work for any child!!!)

Mum - good luck with the paperwork, and hope that you get some children soon

KM - I haven't had reflexology for so long (think I'll send my lady a text), enjoy

HSMM · 23/04/2009 08:20

All children finally back to school, so back to normal term time routine for me today.

southernbelle77 · 23/04/2009 16:06

Wow shoshe, that sounds fantastic! What a good day )

We have made St George's Day flags and make cakes with the st george cross iced onto them.

Looking forward to the end of the day though, am shattered!!

Shoshe · 23/04/2009 19:03

Well we had a lovely time, unfortunately one of the new guys came off and broke his arm .

But kids loved it, marching along with the band, who were playing ABBA and Take That!

Brought them home and they all went to sleep till time for school! So a easy day for me
