CM Club: Parental comments on EYFS folder

Apparently we have to share our EYFS folders with the parents

Which is easy

But then we have to prove that we have & collect parental comments.......so I guess I need a form

Does anyone have one? Or any wording I could use?

Can you not just get them to sign your obs sheets - that's what I do at the moment. 'They' will change their minds again in a few months time......

Well over a term that's about 20-30 pages of obs/photos/planning

I'd rather do a sheet

I have seen my child?s Early Years Foundation Stage Folder and it has been explained to me.

I have the following comments:

Print Name Date

That should cover it . If your parents are anything like mine, they're at the stage where they'll sign anything you put in front of them - one of mine has vowed to get a rubber stamp of her signature just for me .

I guess they are already at that point - they sign, then ask what it's for

errrm, no. Def not ignoring you - when did you send it. Most people don't run away until they've met me at least once , then they head for the hills

KatyMac - Blast - I just shared one with a parent and didn't get her to sign anything! My parents are of 2 kinds - sign whatever I put in front of them and never sign anything!
