What do you mean by Legal Requirements?
Do you mean the EYFS Statutory Framework documents?
If so, you can download Statutory Framework and Guidance from Teachernet.gov.uk

I think what she means the bits that are 'Legal Requirements' rather than things which we 'Should have Regard'.

If this is what you mean, in the pack there are 2 booklets, one is called 'Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage' (you should have version May 2008). This is where it tells you for every section what bits are legal and what bits we should have regard for. It's the thinner of the 2 books.

HTH & good luck!

Thanks LT that's exactly what I mean.

Thanks underpaid

Thanks no4 That is really really helpful.

I have same inspector as last time and she is lovely, very normal and not dragon like.

that document was put out very recently and is a huge relief because it sets out clearly what we have to do. also helps the inspectors as well.

let us know how you get on - us being MN, not the Royal Us!

Inspection has now been put off until mid May, which is when it was due anyway. Shame as I was looking forward to getting it out of the way !!!

Will let you ALL know how I get on especially as I have no regard for any childminding paperwork that isn't a legal requirement
