hennipenni · 31/03/2009 13:51

Afternoon everyone,

dmo congrats on your wedding anvs.
shoshe, good luck with the potty training - I'm trying to persuade one of my mums that her child isn't ready as four weeks in and no progress, although I do go out everyday as with my present mix of children I NEED to go out.
Katymac, congrats on your outstanding
ST hello, I venture in every now and again if I get time.

Now I have pp coming to see me later this week who can only make mornings. I usually try to get these appointments for the afternoons as two 4.5 yr olds that I mind at the moment are a handful ,forever telling tales on each other, one gets a little physical i.e kicking, smacking ,shouting etc if things aren't going the right way. WWYD? there's no way that I will get peace and quiet to talk to these parents and as I'm losing so many children due to school moves etc I really need to make a good impression. I'm thinking of maybe cancelling one of these two children although it's very short notice but I just know that they will not behave when together.

ScottishThistle · 31/03/2009 13:59

Hi Hennipenni, would bribery work???

dmo · 31/03/2009 14:03

babies are 8mths and 15mths

good idea maybe to cancel one good luck henni

ScottishThistle · 31/03/2009 14:08

dmo, enjoy the peace ~ every minute of it!

Numberfour · 31/03/2009 14:16

hello, everyone

hennipenni, i would also go the bribery route!!!

i had a pp here today for 2 hours 25 minutes!!! yikes. then asked me if i knew of anyone else...... but in her defence she does have an fairly unusual situation. lovely little girl! and she would fit in well.

oh dear, i really need some new children. and in a hurry!!!!

happy anniversary, dmo

hennipenni · 31/03/2009 14:36

Alas, I have tried the bribary route before with these two and it doesn't work. I really need to know that they'll behave and if I could trust them then I would go down the bribary route. looking like I'm going to have to cancell one of them.

The reason I can't use bribary is that one of the children pretty much gets what they want when they want it (not with me obviously). So I couldn't use sweets, chocolates, ice creams etc as these are a daily occurance to the mindee virtually every day.. Star charts don't work with these two either!

hennipenni · 31/03/2009 14:37

Number four, I've had that happen to me as well.
