With Junior No 4 due in a month and a house to organise (eg spring cleaning, toy sorting, clothes to be sifted through etc) and builders to arrive beforehand, I have realised I could benefit from having another pair of hands to help me around the house and with the children. I thought I would post here to see what comes up, whether it is ideas for how to organise myself given my situation or house-keepers/nannies/mother's helpers looking for work.
We live in Chiswick, West London and will be living here while the builders do their thing. The project is estimated to last 20 weeks and I am trying to get it started before baby arrives as I can see it will be difficult to get going afterwards. So there will be disruption and noise and anybody coming to help will need to have a great deal of patience and good sense of humour! My eldest is at school so there may be a school run to factor in (unless I do it, or a fellow mum/neighbour helps out) although Easter holidays start in a couple of weeks.
The position will be temporary as I do not intend to have help indefinitely, just in the run-up and immediately following baby's arrival. So perhaps the ideal candidate is someone who is looking to fill a gap? The work would be from Monday to Fridays 4-8pm or thereabouts.
