AP sick pay - what do I do?

Our AP has caught a virus that has been doing the rounds pretty horribly. She has stayed at her boyfriend's house over the weekend and texted me this morning to apologise and say she is ill and can't get the train back today.

I have no doubts whatsoever that she is ill.

It's a pretty silly question I'm sure, but if she does not do all her hours this week because she is ill do I still give her her full amount of pocket money for this week?

I understand it's not her fault she is ill so I think I would give her the full amount, but wondering what everyone else does?

I always give full pocket money if genuinely ill.

Sometimes I will ask them to do some extra 'catch-up' the following week if needed - eg if ironing is overflowing.

I would pay the full amount.

My contract says they get paid

thanks - she's back today and although obviously feeling like crap is soldiering on bravely.

and offered to make up the hours that she would have done yesterday - to which i of course said not to worry we'll all muck in this week.
