Shoshe · 06/03/2009 07:36

We are off swimming, this morning, and DH is home for the weekend this evening

No.4 what will you do with yourself

Oh ML, have left some chick flicks and choccies by Katy's bed, if I dont see her tell her to REST!

mumsanutter · 06/03/2009 13:55

Now gearing myself up to collect the older ds's and start work at 3.15!!

Hope everyone has a good day,

Katy - make sure that you rest as well as work - use the bed {hugs}

nomoreamover · 06/03/2009 14:17

Shoshe I have CA

Last night spent ages looking up all her inpsection reports online and she has NEVER that I could find given an outstanding...so thats me out of the running then :-( And I so wanted OS.....:-(

Shoshe · 06/03/2009 14:22

She used to be my under 8 Officer, (before Ofsted), will check everywhere, make sure ALL safety things have been triple checked and that you know child protection routines.

Put a call out for London11, she had CA last month.

(I will ring her and ask her to give you a heads up)

Illhavethisinsize12 · 06/03/2009 14:53

Illhavethisinsize12 · 06/03/2009 14:53

my inspector bc in croydon area

Numberfour · 06/03/2009 15:54

illhavethis, have you checked the good old Bromley CM website or NCMA website for inclusion policy?

london11 · 06/03/2009 16:21

nomoreamover CA was pleasent friendly and chatty but also very thorough and a bit picky!

She looked at all paperwork adn round every inch of house and garden. She asked me lots about what I had put in self evaluation and how I would implement the improvements. She also asked me to explain my strengths and weaknesses.
She wanted to see written plans and observations - preferably linked to the 6 areas of learning. She also asked me to give her examples of activities and resources used for each of the 6 areas. She was keen on mark making.
She was hot on health and safety.....asked where my toy cleaning rota was! I had to admit I have no such thing!

If I think of anything else I'll post again. Good luck, be confident.

nomoreamover · 06/03/2009 17:55

london and shoshe thank you soooo much!

What a :-(

Luckily safety is my strongpoint....however toy cleaning rota?!!! Bugger!

I'll be busy this weekend I fear!

mumlove · 06/03/2009 18:30

My laminator is making a funny noise

Numberfour · 06/03/2009 20:00

ofsted are bloody amazing

TOY CLEANING ROTAS???? FFS!!!!!!

sometimes i need to blink or breath:

risk assessments
attendance registers
obs and assessments
planning
fire drills
4000 permissions from parents
policies
visitors' book
complaints book
photographic evidence
accounts
daily diaries
menus
AND NOW TOY CLEANING ROTAS!! on top of everything else i have missed above

london11, where are you based?????

katy, why are you laminating at 7pm on a friday! open the wine, kick off your shoes and watch some cr*p tv.

BTW: had PP here today for 1hour 40 min! lovely mum and lovely lovely little girl. fingers crossed.

KatyMac · 06/03/2009 20:26

I am laminating & policy correcting because OFSTED are coming on Monday & I am spending tomorrow writing 4500 words for OU

I have a toy cleaning rota (mainly so someone else can do it & I can check up on it)

Shoshe · 06/03/2009 20:28

No.4 London is with me

leonifay · 06/03/2009 20:30

oh dear, looking at that list, and what has been said about planning and obs on other threads, i am so not doing enough
[worry]
good luck with pp number4

nannynick · 06/03/2009 22:25

Katy - good luck with the Ofsted inspection. Remember to schedule in 'me time' for yourself over the next few days... even if 'me time' is just sitting in a nice warm bath, with a glass of wine in your hand.

KatyMac · 06/03/2009 22:41

Nick I don't drink maybe I could take it up as a hobby

The bath is scheduled in, along with 4500 words of OU essay, putting up a new tent cover (well making the bacan sarnies), cleaning he fishtank (& buying some fish), a scrap of paperwork, a bit of tidying up, and a tiny bit of panicking

nannynick · 06/03/2009 22:43

Hot chocolate then perhaps

KatyMac · 06/03/2009 22:45

Milk intolerant?

am I being awkward?

How about peach juice? & plain chocolate half covered biscuits

london11 · 07/03/2009 10:24

mumlove - Bump getting ridiculously big and only going to get bigger I fear! All well though and I am loving feeling them kick hell out of me. Picture on profile was taken a month ago!

numberfour Am in Dorset, same town as Shoshe.

nomoreamover numberfour's list is a good reminder....written record of fire drills and attendance register were scrutinised by CA however all my lovely photos of fab kids doing fab things were barely flicked through.
