Cor, mums lives in her own little world. I didn't even realise that it had snowed!!!

Sorry to hear that you are snowed in again, hope you both have a good day

mumlove · 05/03/2009 07:53

Ok, got snow but not enough to make a snowman yet! unless you scrap it off all the cars as it has also rained.

Shoshe - are your schools closed?

DH has had a horrid diagnosis from Papworth & they have brought his appointment forward (I'm not really ready to talk about it publicly yet)

OK - I am a bit calmer & braver now

DH has Mycobacterium Avium - don't google it - it's quite scary

But after reading lots it's not that bad & thankfully papworth say (& I've checked independently) that it can't be passed to the children at all

Numberfour · 05/03/2009 18:17

no, we're not snowed in! i posted v quickly and it did not read properly.

I was supposed to go to classes tonight for my EYP course. my childminder is ill (she is faultless and my son loves her so all is forgiven). DH was supposed to come home at 4 to look after DS so I could leave. DH got stuck an hour away and did not make it. CM friend had full house and would have been over her numbers, another friend had had surgery Friday so was not up to babysitting, other friend at work, no family in area...... so I rang lecturer and said I may have to bring DS with me and then DH collects him while I am in class.

lecturer said take it easy, stay at home and stop worrying!

Numberfour · 05/03/2009 18:19

KM: yes, it does look really awful..... hope your DH is okay.

nomoreamover · 05/03/2009 19:22

You know that big hill with shaftesbury on top? The other side of it!! LOL

Shoshe · 05/03/2009 20:55

nomoreamover one of my babies comes from over that hill by GM youth detention.

KatyMac · 05/03/2009 22:22
