CM CLUB: ADVICE NEEDED

Does anyone know if under EYFS you have to spend a certain amount of time in your home with the children.

Our schedule is quite busy. I have 2 mindees who come mornings only and one who comes all day.

On a Monday, we go to a church Tiddlers club, Wednesday soft play, Thursday Toddler Group, Friday Library.

For the morning children they probably still play/learn for about at least an hour a day. Is this enough, or should I cut some of our outings.

Although, we are out a lot, I am still covering the 6 areas of learning though.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I hope not as I'm out every single morning and then the mindees are at nursery in the afternoon so basically just they just eat at home!

We are out every morning and go out for whole days in the school holidays

It just that years ago I seem to remember being told that the children need to spend a certain percentage of their time at your home

I have never heard of it being a requirement that we spend X amount of time at home. I had heard that time should be split 50/50 indoors and outdoors but that was "hearsay" for want of a better expression and I have not seen it printed in the Statutory EYFS Guidelines (but if anyone knows where it is could they please let me know!)

Thanks for your input

I thought that we are encouraged to be out and about with the mindees as much as poss as it is good for their social skills, and other learning opportunities. I`m out mornings at different groups home for lunch then try to go out to parks etc after. its norm after school pick up we stay indoors as got diff collection times.
