CACHE ICP UNIT 1.

Has anybody done it? Is it easy? Hard? How much time do you spend on it?
Any info would be useful

I beleive the ICP is unit 1 of the Cache Level 3 DHC, if so, this is what i completed after a 3 day (i think) course, and yes it is easy

in fact thinking about it i was told that my LA has never had anyone fail

I did the 2 day course and then sat the exam paper. So easy I'm sure I could have passed the exam without doing the 2 day course.

thanks everyone what sort of questions do they ask?

It's a multiple choice paper where you answer a,b,c or d.

A lot of the questions were common sense.

Some where you could rule out silly answers.

Can't remember actual questions but things like how would you recognise emotional or physical abuse? how would you settle a child into a new setting? how would you let parents know of their childs progress? what games would be suitable to use gross or fine motor skills? how would you store raw meat in the fridge?

Lol common sense then..
