Are you registering as a childminder, if so there are a couple of groups who might of interest to you.These are
groups.yshoo.com/group/ukchildminders/
and
uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/childcaretraining
you would need to 'apply' to join both of them but would find them very friendly.
