I would love to hire you but I doubt I could afford it! How much (roughly) is a nannyshare?

Bump for you.

BabyTalk13 · 06/02/2009 00:07

If you find another family to share with then the nannyshare would be around £12-13/hour net shared between you both.
Where do you live?

I live in Epsom in Surrey - not too far I don't think, unfortunately nursery is a bit more cost effective for me!

Would it not count as a nannyshare if you had your own child with you though? Just curious, thinking about for the future.

BabyTalk13 · 06/02/2009 00:22

Epsom is further than I would go as have my daughter with me, not too far though, I have family there.

No it wouldnt, it would just be the nanny bringing her child.

I asked the agencies the same thing when I had my daughter and would have to start taking her with me but they confirmed its not the same thing, although a nanny taking a child works out a little cheaper than a nanny without a child and your child gets a play mate as a bonus as well as the first hand experience a nanny with there own child has!
