Inspection tomorrow!!!!

Ok, I have my first proper ofsted inspection tomorrow or next tuesday and I'm having a major case of the wobbles, really lacking confidence. I'm so nervous I can't decide what activities to do? I was going to do painting but now am thinking I ought to go for something which requires less clearing up. I am likely to be feeling a little stressed so want to keep things easyish. I am working myself into such a tizz here, convincing myself the children will play up and not be interested in things. Thought about doing playdoh but one of my mindees insists on eating it so probably not a good idea. Will have my own 2 year old but 2 18 mth olds. I want to just go with the flow but feel I ought to have a couple of activities planned but just can't decide. Any idea, advice or inspiration? Or any advice on how I can keep my nerves under control....

How about some fat crayons and a big sheet of lining paper and sit them on the floor with you supervising them....or bricks, lego and shape sorters are always a good activitiy. Good luck. I'm sure the kids will enjoy seeing a new face and will behave for you.

I would say do their favorite activitys, then they will be so into them that they will be on their best behavior !! I bet you will be fab!! GOOD LUCK!

Good luck! You'll do great! They aren't trying to trip you up - they should be encouraging and not scary. They just want to see you doing what you normally do. Worry more that your paperwork is up together - mine was only interested in my paperwork - the kids could've been swinging off the light fittings for all she noticed! In fact my DS was flinging himself over the back of the sofa and I had to send him into time out - great look!!!!

I got a glowing report despite all that - so breathe....and check your paperwork (attendance register, signatures for going in car etc)

Thank you. Do they want to see mot and car insurance? Can you tell I'm worrying about really random stuff now
