Morning all! Been reading but not posting lately - just too busy but this morn one mindee is late and dd is still asleep! She is sooooooooooooooooo tired from starting full time school but hasn't been sleeping in as first mindee arrives at 7! one of my reasons for thinking about giving up. It's closing date on the job I've applied for today, so want an interview but I know they've had lots of applications please keepfingers crossed for me!

Fingers crossed for you EM. I have been popping in to say hello in the morning, but like you have been reading more than posting (the mums house needs to be quarantined again, and it always happens when dh is away!! )

School run for dd and then we have friends coming to play .

DH car broke down on monday so have a nice £400+ bill to pay tonight, then my car is having it's mot tomorrow . It always happens when got no money.

I have to sort out some chinese new year crafts for monday.

Morning everyone, has anyone got any other crafts for chinese ny other than lanterns and making big dragon. I actually look after 2 chinese children so want to make it a bit more authentic.

hi - last night ex-mindee was boked in for a day ad-hoc then this morning cancelled the mum ia ALWAYS doing this - it's really hard as she is also a friend but i'm soooo annoyed about it today - it's like her saying "Violet, would you like £30? oh sorry i just changed my mind"

any ideas how I can approach parent over this issue? mum wants DD to have more nutritious breakfasts. LO is 15 months and does not like baby cereals anymore. likes toast with marmite. Mum packed in some coco pop types thingies for her today. would rather not have LO eat that (not that i am member of food police!!) should i leave it or suggest something else?

No4 I would word it like - oh, LO saw so and so eating (insert preferred option) and she really wanted some. What do you think about trying her on.. blah blah

The mums house has just got better, ds3 is now also on antibiotics - out of 4 ds's 3 are ill, 2 on ab's and the baby on cough medicine from the doctor. Mums wants to run away and hide.....
