I have been working as a nanny for a family for 3 months and i still have not signed a contract!! I am keen to sign one.
I did bring it up but they said they are really busy!
Shall i say something again to them?

Hi yes you should ask again, as they should provide you with one within 2 months of starting the post, ideally before you start.

Just keep bringing it up, or ask if you can arrange a time to sit down and discuss it, and put it in the diary so they have to do it.
Good Luck

Why dont you go onto the nannyjob website, get a copy of the sample contract, fill in the details to suit your position, and present it to your employers saying "how bout something along these lines?"!

Are you in the UK?
Are you being paid? Have they asked for P45 or asked you to complete a P46?
How is the job going so far, do you see yourself staying in it a while?
Have they employed someone before? Perhaps they don't realise about the paperwork that needs to be done.

At the very least you need to draw up a written agreement saying you work for them adn they're paying you.

Yes, contracts can take time to sort out - mine took about 6 weeks to negotiate properly but I had something in writing about hours, pay, holidays and duties.

Again payslips take a while to sort out, it's all paperwork and many people don't realise exactly how time consuming it is but they do need to sort it out for you. Definitely bring it up again!

yes im in the uk, im english and was a nursery nurse before. Yes they have employed people before but they where not english.
Yes they asked me for p45 at the start so they have had it for a while.
Job is great and i do see myself being there for 1-2 years. I get on well with both parents and the children so there are no probs there!

Keep asking, with luck they will find the time to do the paperwork.
