Im a nanny and know that if I was to look after children in my own home I would have to be registered as a childminder and thats fine but what if...

Someone has contacted me to help look after there baby about 3 times a week for 3 hours in my own home but is ONLY temp for 1 month.

Could I do this?

Thanks

tech no as you wont have the insurance to cover you - but guess no one will know, but i personally wouldnt

could you look after the baby in their home?

Thanks blondes, Im trying to find this out now.

What if I have nanny insurance though or does that not mean anything?

when you apply for nanny insurance, they ask for the address you work in ( well mine did)

you could try calling MM and ask them if they will cover you in your own home
