Help with Childminders

I am going back to work in March, and I need a childminder to take my 6 month old son on a Friday, do they just take babies for one day a week. Also I am in London N19/N7, does anyone have any childminders they can recommend, I am not really sure where to start...

Start by having a look here for Childminders in your area.

Then have a phone around. Im sure you will find someone who a space. I would take on a child one day a week.
