Thursday Staff Room

OK I have emptied my fridge into the staff room one, all the last goodies from Christmas, enjoy.

The house is just about packed, the Removal Men will do the last bit in the morning, everything that can be has been either through the washing machine or dishwasher, so we will start off in the new house, with everything beautiful clean and tidy.

Not one ounce of clutter is going with us, it has all gone to the dump or freecycle!

Nothing Like a move to clear out the house

Oh god don't!! I am on a diet and goodies are not allowed atm lol.

Waiting for 1st mindee to arrive so catching up with my daily diary that i haven't done this week

mumsanutter · 08/01/2009 07:21

I'm on a sort of diet as well, but have a goal this time so it might work!! Want to lose weight for my trips to New York and South Africa (cor doesn't that make me sound like I'm ultra posh and a jet setter!!)

Not working until 12 today, so off into town to have a coffee with a friend before doing a little retail looking (not buying, just looking!!). Had quite a good night in the mums house last night, all little ones asleep by 8.30, and I was asleep by 9.30 (after talking to dh) and best of all ds4 didn't get up until 4.30 this morning!!!

Shoshe, good luck with the move. I wish that I could declutter, my idea of decluttering my bedroom over the hols was to put it in boxes and bin bags and put it up in the loft!!!

No4, good luck today with your course, hope it goes alright for you and for ds being with his childminder [hugs]

Gal, good luck with the diet and the daily diary

Shoshe · 08/01/2009 07:28

Mums that was my idea of decluttering.

It took six hours and five trips to the dump to declutter and pack the loft

Dh is off to SA on the 24th, he is going to Jo'burg.

DDIL is from about two hours east of Jo'burg as well.

No.4 is SAfrican as well

They are taking over I'm telling you

I did throw out 1 bag full of rubbish from my room but put 6 full boxes up into the loft!

My plans for my week off in august (always get at least 1 week off, as all the mindees go away at the same time!!), is to hire a skip and take everything out of the loft that really isn't necessary and dump it all. I figure that if its up in the loft and hasn't been needed for 6 months then it can go!!

I am saying this now, but how many bets I find any excuse to keep it all, can throw that it was the boys first buggy.........

Morning everyone.

Just made coffee, so it's on the table.
It's lovely and sunny here also not that cold . I have walked DD to school then popped to the shops for a quick look around and then did the banking.

Shoshe - Wishing you all the best with your move tomorrow. Lets hope you are not offline for to long.

Have a great day.

Hey everyone, we've had a clear out here too must be something in the air or we've all picked up the declutter bug from shoshe!

I've been having a couple of nightmare days tbh, mindee's mum gave notice said she thought nursery would be a better option, I've been really upset because it felt like she was saying I wasn't good enough, after much discussion she has decided the best thing is to keep mindee with me which I'm so glad and relieved about, I feel like a weight has been lifted and it's given me a wake up call so I can improve even more and give an even better service (she said I hadn't done wnything wrong but there was a acumilation(sp?) of issues which were bothering her and she just needed some reassurance and to know her ds was still really important to me since taking on new mindees plus the holiday I had and time off for sick hadn't helped so now we can start a fresh and have an even stronger relationship that I hope will continue for years to come. I feel liek I've been on a rollacoaster - I'm glad it's time to get off - it almost made me give up tbh but I'm so glad I don't have to now.
