What the general rules.
I am considering this but dont know whre to start, hours, amount of dc's to mind, what kind of wage tdo you recieve?

Hi mrs santa, your first step is to ring your local sure start and get yourself onto a briefing session, this will give you a good idea what it is all about.

Then go onto this site and put in youe post code, find out how many CM's there are in your area and what they charge.

As a general rule you can have 6 children under 8, 3 being under 5, one of those being under 1, including your own.

Hours are up o you and market demand.

I have just finished TA level 2 and finding it a bit difficult to find a paid job.

Don't know anyone in that area I am afraid, but look through some of the CM threads especially the Staff Room ones, they may help.

mrssanta, the site you mention about seeing how many childminders and cost of in diff area, i have tried to find it a fews times and cant get the info. where is it that i need to look? sorry prob just being stupid!!
