I have used them with my parents before I stopped and had no issue whatsoever with them.

southernbelle77 · 29/12/2008 12:07

I had to give my bank details for all my vouchers and never had any problems with it.

Not back to work until the 5th here either! DD has come down with chicken pox quite badly and to make matters worse, she has been on steroids and this can cause complications so after a visit to the hospital at 10.30pm on Saturday night we are having to keep a keen eye on her as if she starts showing any particular signs, we have to take her back to hospital! Thank god I'm not working!!

I wish i could have a permanent break from work tbh

I don't realise how much i don't do with my own dc's till i am not looking after other peoples Just nice to be able to get up and go you know? Like swimming and the like.

No permission slip/risk assessment or emergency contact crap to cart about!!

Never mind maybe i'll win the lottery lol

I start back on the 7th with my after schoolie, a bit nervous as I haven't had time to put my EYFS stuff together (he's just five in Oct so I have to do it )

We are all deathly ill with cold not quite flu and have been since before Christmas. Happy Christmas.. blech

SB- sorry to hear that your dd has taken so poorly with chicken pox, how awful for you all.

Shoshe · 29/12/2008 12:34

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely Christmas/break.

vInTaGeVioLeNcE I use the voucher scheme. No probs at all.

SB so sorry to hear about your DD getting chickenpox. I know where you are coming from with your worries. My youngest DS had them in May and was in hospital by end June with a suspected stroke. It turned out he had ADEM which was to do with the CP messing up his imune system. Very scary time. Hope your DD is ok.

Ive just had two of my former mindees who left at the summer round with their mum for a good old gossip and play. You would think that a bomb has exploded in my house . Still it was lovely to see them again.

Shoshe it sounds like you need some timeout. Go to the corner of the room. Hee hee.

I actually took down all my Christmas decs yesterday. I like a nice neat house and would like to see the tv again as my tree was so big you had to crick your neck round it .

Have a good day all.

Hi COOLiciclepuddleonfloor

I have just spotted your comment about ADEM I hope your daughter is now fine and has made a full recovery.
My Nephew was rushed in to hospital Wednesday evening with what they thought at the time was meningitis. But he actually has ADEM following the bout of Chicken pox he had before Christmas. I just wondered if you had any advice I can pass on to my sister as she is beside with worry.

Many Thanks
