We are Partying this morning

Although I have some still off with D&V, which in one way is just as well as DieselGirl is off with her DD having it, so we have manged to combine both settings into one today to take all the remaining unsick mindees to the party, with a little help from london11.

My last day working .

Looking after a couple of extras this morning for an hour while their cm goes to watch the school play.

Afterschool we are all going to my mums as it's her birthday.

Tomorrow I will remove the fireguard {cheers}

Enjoy your day.

Morning

I was supposed to be at a party this am - but I had too many children, so I cancelled

But I didn't buy the food I was supposed to take - Life is so complicated

mumlove · 17/12/2008 08:19

Morning all, hope you all have good times at your parties today.

I am still stuck in with the fluy boy, who is being ever so clingy!!

SammyK · 17/12/2008 12:02

I am so achey and snotty (TMI I know but no grown ups here to talk to!)

at mindees mum (mindee who gave me his germs on friday when I was too soft to send him home), has dropped him off and gone home to bed as she feels rubbish too, sigh.

My Ofsted report finally turned up this morning too so that has really helped

{hides in the comfy chair and weeps}

Hi folks

Ive just had a crap day. One of my mindees mum turned up to collect her DD to say that this would be her last day . She has changed her mind 5 times over the last couple of weeks. She wanted me to fit her DS in and do nursery runs but I couldnt so she is putting them both in the same nursery. Even though she doesnt like the nursery involved and was over the moon when her DD settled with me so quickly.

Thats me down to one mindee now. Oh great. .

Finished .
But I have the biggest headache going!
Off to make tea and then relax ready for removing the cm things from lounge and car tomorrow .

Have a wonderful evening.

mumsanutter · 17/12/2008 17:54

Well mums won't be going out tonight - Ds3 is really not good and extremely clingy. So cancelled the sitter - which is good for her as she'd been invited to a Christmas party tonight and hadn't wanted to let me down!!, and will get on with some chores - remake bed, hang washing on airer, get little ones to bed and get the hump as dh is on the first of his many Christmas dos - he might as well still be away.

Sorry this has turned into a moan - will go now. Have a pleasant evening everyone and mumlove I am dead jealous!!

ToysAreLikeDogs · 17/12/2008 18:48

Hope you all get rid of your nasties ready for the break

NumberFour · 17/12/2008 19:24

Mums, i did not go either! already in pyjamas, glass of wine in hand (well, on table!) but I am looking after a friend's LO who is my DS's best friend. so that will be 15 hours of having other people's children in my house today by the time that he leaves.

they are both playfighting with DH now.... oh dear, i have to be the dragon and get them inot the bath.
