Morning NumberFour

Very busy day here today as Ofsted have granted me an emergency variation for 4 under 5's during the day and 6 under 5's after school (2 rising 5's - and all the current who knows what is going on with that!)

Also have the cleaner coming for the first time (supposed to be Friday but couldn't do it this week so coming today instead) so mindees and I are invading another childminder for a couple of hours while the house is cleaned!!

Good luck!!! What a day you will be having! Hope they are all little gems for you!
I also have a cleaner, but unfortunately she has been quite slack lately so I have drawn up a list of stuff for her to do, but I don't know how to approach it without offending her.

morning, i'm off to uni today but really not sure why i'm doing this course at the moment.
am really struggling with life and career descions at the moment. just don't know which way to go!

i've got 6 days left before 2 weeks off (def time to do some thinking............)

Im just in mixed feelins to be honest.
In too minds if mumsnet is for me to be honest.. ( seeing as i got shout dead by making a comment on a disscussions board.)

Dont really wanna drag this into staff room chat as not fair on anyone else who may have tried to aviod the free for all fight

Morning everyone.

Just dropped DD at school and now waiting for my toes to thaw out and mindee to arrive.

Going to have a quiet day, as been having lots of parties. So lots of warm drinks and paracetamol for me, lots of cuddles and fun for mindee .

PeaceNlove - stop reading the thread now. Its not worth it. We know what you meant by it and for all intents and purposes agree with you. I stopped after 3 pages as it was not going in a constructive direction. Don't let it grind you down, and don't let it stop you coming on here {hugs}

Hi

I'm not working today or yesterday which is really not good for us money wise but I just couldn't have given the attention to my mindees that they needed, I've got a temp, cough, headache, I do feel better than yesterday but still uurrggh! Dd2 is the same and dp has been ill since saturday too. Luckily one of my cm friends had a space for one of my mindee's so she's covering for me and the mum of other mindees happened to have the week off which is about as good timing as you can get for being ill I guess. It's my brithday on saturday though so I really want to be 100% by then!

9 working days left until I get 13 days off!

EM, I know ho you feel, I am off over christmas and I think I will be making a decision in that time too. I have a couple of other options and think it is time to choose one of those.

PNL - what do you intend to do about non paying parents? Sorry you have been ripped off it is awful I know.

[slinks into staff room with a cup of tea]. Ive got this afternoon off as mindee is ill and the other gone home.

Its all peaceful here as my DS is sound asleep on the sofa. Poor thing has had a constant cold for the past couple of weeks. He has been off his food as is sick and tired of medicine.

I hope you sickies out there are feeling a wee bit better. Its awful at this time of year with all the bugs that are going around.

15 days to go until we can open our pressies. yayy. Im so excited and keeping looking up my chimney for signs of the big fellow (even though I know im looking far too early) . Ho ho ho

I have done glittery pinecones, we have made snowman, glitter and glue pictures (!), cards, and we will be making snow domes when I get some little xmas figures.

flippping heck just had a look at that mega long post started by peaceNlove - that it exactly why i've been staying away from mumsnet lately - there was another one about aupairs i'd been reading it for about five minutes before i realised i was getting sucked into a mumsnet bitchfest

hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the build up to christmas - it was ds's first nativity play today
