Hi. I only have one mindee and I earn about £200 a month from her.

How much should I spend on her for Christmas? I have seen some lovely bits but don't want to look a bit odd it it is a bit too much?

Ovbiously if you have lots of mindees then you can't spend loads but I only have the one.

Well remember what you spend on her this year you may need to repeat next year when you have 6 other mindees

Im not very liked on here after my last post but wont let it deter me from having my say here lol.

Maybe just something age appropriate that has some educational value too it.

Early learning centre have some good bits, and as a childminder you can get 10-15% off.

I spent £5 on each mindee's gift plus a tube of sweets so around £6.50/£7.00.

It's a lot when you are buying for 3-4 or as KM says 6 mindees.

KatyMac · 09/12/2008 23:01

Try 20 odd

aGalChangedHerName · 09/12/2008 23:20

Jesus KM really????

I have never spent more than £8 on a mindee. Am i mean dya think?

PeaceNLove · 09/12/2008 23:31

Most ive spent (last xmas) is about $60 on a pair of trainers and a coat when on holiday in US for mindee.

(more down to mindee keep coming in t-shirts when it was cold and shoes 2 sizes to big which were a hazard to say the least.)

We get 10-15% off in ELC? How?

Bring in your Insurance and Ofsted certificate and say you want a discout form as your a childminder, fill in a short form and you get your card there and than.

pregapuss · 09/12/2008 23:37

Wow, I can't believe I didn't know that!! They should tell you on ICP or something! Would have been useful for Christmas!
