Hello. I have been doing paperwork and with some sample policies I have found some info on the 7 c's. Are these still used now the EYFS has come out? I have never heard of them to be honest, but I will learn about them if they are in use.

Anybody know?

I do remember something about this from my training but will have to dig around to find. It is related to child development - 7 thuings they need ie confidence, creativity etc etc. Will hunt and post again

definately rings a bell here. I'm sure we talked about it on ICP course. Not heard of it on relation to EYFS.

You don't need to use the Seven C's - they're not mentioned in EYFS at all. With EYFS they want you to look at the Areas of Learning and Development, KUW, CLL, PSRN, PD, CD, PSE instead.

Just different ways of assessing what children are learning. Another one was SPICE. Only relevent if asked to do it for a particular course.

Once we've all got used to EYFS they'll change it all again...
