Morning, its not so cold here this morning.

Shorter week for me this week, finishing Friday lunchtime, as we are going to a wedding in the afternoon.

mumsanutter · 03/12/2008 07:23

Morning,

Dh might be home tomorrow am, if I had a choice I would like him home now!!

Not working until 3.15 today, so need to get to Tesco (get some food in for dh that doesn't consist of rice or noodles - pasta? ), get ds3 to nursery and then home for an expected phone call at 10.15.

Have a good day everyone

NumberFour · 03/12/2008 07:52

Shoshe, lucky you!! I am really looking forward to 19 Dec: last day at work for 2 weeks (but i have agreed to have a 4 year old boy for 22 and 23 Dec - every little helps, as they say, especially seeing the one I gave notice to has not paid )

Mums, bet you are like a kid in a candy store! No doubt you will be off line for a while tomorrow ??

Doing a xmas craft with mindee this morning before going back to school for lunchtime pick up. Only 3 more lunchtime pick ups after today .

Enjoy yourselves today.

SammyK · 03/12/2008 15:32

Oh no number four! Hope you find some nice new mindees soon.

I am fed up of saying 'in a minute' or 'you will have to wait' to one of my mindees.

mumsanutter · 03/12/2008 15:45

Sorry No4 , fingers crossed that something comes along for you quickly

NumberFour · 03/12/2008 15:49

Mumsa thanks for explaining, feel awful for being so nosey yesterday

Been making 'Xmas Puddings' with tissue paper today- gold for the pudding, yellow for the custard (we don't refer to brandy sauce do we) green for the holly and 3 red berries.

They look fab

looneytune · 03/12/2008 18:00

Thought I'd pop in quickly whilst waiting for ds's dinner to cool down. Well, I finished at 2.30pm today as asked one mindees mum to pick up early and she picked up even earlier than I asked, bless her. And she doesn't want a refund as I got the bug from her dd - bless. The extra mindee I now have finishes at 2.30pm anyway, the other toddler mindee was off today and I cancelled the school run mindee. There was me thinking I'd actually try and rest for a bit as although not been sick again, got horrible pains in tummy and waves of feeling sick. Well, no chance! Ds1 obviously bored as used to being at school so he wanted to do this that and the other and has no idea what 'mummy really isn't well' means! . I really hope ds2 sleeps tonight as looks like I'm back on again tomorrow and don't think I could cope with feeling crap AND not sleeping another night!

Mums - wow, that's a long time!! Bet you'll have some catching up to do!!

Hope those who are loosing mindees have some luck filling spaces soon. Hard times isn't it

Toys - I'd love to see pics, they sound fab!

Right, best start clearing up and stuff. Dh was supposed to take over and do ds1's dinner and stuff but got held up at work and now stuck in big traffic problem so won't be back for some time. Lucky I cancelled the course I was due to go on otherwise I'd never have made it!

looneytune · 03/12/2008 18:01

By the way, if anyone is able to help with this thread i'd be very grateful - getting myself in a bit of a state if I'm to be honest.
