I have a day off today and am sitting here, chatting about childminding! I do love my job, but maybe I need to get out more ;)

What do you do on your days off?

I am sad too
I spend days off doing paperwork, traiing and planning, or even shopping for mindees. I never seem to switch off from cm mode!

Me neither Sammy - always searching for new resources, activity ideas etc.! hehe

Yeah, there is always the paperwork to do...

I just clean, although at the moment the only days off are saturday and sunday!

I even lie in bed at night thinking I must do letter about X to so and so, need to do fire drill on Tuesday because mindee AB is only here on that day, should have bought some wipes because mindee Z used the last to wipe up whatever, wonder if I am the only CM thinking about work at night, is it good practice to have sickness cover or can I tell that mindee's mum where to go, etc etc etc.

You could make a list of christmas presents for your mindees and plan them a christmas party ......

hpgoneforgood · 03/12/2008 10:35

on my day off I wonder if I will ever ignore cleaning, paperwork, planning, meals, schoolruns etc.

All pressies for Christmas are bought and parties are organised (3 of them!)! Hubby's are even wrapped already, he is frightfully nosy!
