When I put policies together nearly 4 years ago, I listed certain things when then needed excluding. Now I tend to go with the Health Authority list in general BUT my policies are being changed and STILL SAY, for example, exclude when got conjunctivitis.

Now, the Health Authority say no need to exclude for schools etc. however most of us know just how highly contagious Conjunctivitis is. As one parent is definitely not happy about mixing with this, I'm thinking of my policies refering them to Health Authority list, however, will some differences for my setting i.e. exclude for conjunctivitis.

Can you think of any others where the list says ok to attend but you think they shouldn't? I'm wondering whether to put also that if a parent is pregnant then need to exclude for Slapped Cheek?

Any thoughts on any of this would be great

can you get the lastest list then decide upon that what YOU would or wouldnt accept?..TBH ANYTHING that can be contageous such as slapped cheek i would refuse care as that would rpevent YOU from attending any outdoor activities as they may come into contact with pg women?
