### PLANNING?###

Last night I went to a Childminders Exchange meeting with regards to the EYFS SEF and planning.

At the moment I do a yearly plan, monthly plan and individual weekly plan for each child. As well as doing daily diaries, observations and other photographs which I link up to the 6 areas of learning, that I keep in my works folder.

I spend a lot of time doing all of this as I thought it was what Ofsted want, but I was told I shouldnt be doing this??????

Can someone please tell me WTF I SHOULD be doing

I was told in one breath to do all this and in another to do the bare essentials - so sorry can't say what we should be doing!!

I raised with my netwrok coordinator, as my mindee is 'shifts' so I can have him some weeks for 60+ hours and some for 12, so was finding it hard to weekly, let alone monthly plan in depth as I don't know his shifts from month to month, and was told to just do a yearly plan broken down into months, and cover it in my setting, keeping photo evidence and write up in daily dairy as well as obs!!

Sorry can't be more help
