Hello I have just received my new ofsted certificate that they are upgrading thanks to the lovely EYFS and now it says that my assistant can now only care for the mindees that are in the early years register Ages 0 - 5 yrs).

So what will happen if I needed my assistant to do the school run for me? Well now they cannot do it!

Please check your new certificate when you get it.

That seems silly! Do you have more under fives due to having an assistant? What are the reasons behind it?

I don't have an assistant but think a few on here do so will give this a bump.

maybe that suggests the assistant can only look after the under 5's while you do the school run???..dunno really though

No I only can have 3 under 5, but my mum has been my assistant since I registered as I was minding from her house. She now only helps me out if I have an appointment to go to eg dentist, dr's.
