i'm thinking of doing the NVQ 3 in childcare and am just wondering how much is costs. thanks.

I am not sure about the NVQ but I did the Diploma in Home Based Childcare and Surrey County Council gave me (and all my classmates, I think) a bursary olf £1000 to cover the fees and any resources we needed.

I would suggest that you call your Local Authority or do an online search to see if your costs would be covered.

if you google smart-training, you might be eligible for a funded apprenticeship which has the NVQ3 and also the BTEC level 3
thats what I'm currently doing

I got the NVQ3 fully funded - best to ring your early years training officer. Most local authorities are funding it as it is a government iniative to get us all qualified.
