Childminders with no mindees - lets all be lonely together!

I'm a minder with no mindees. I keep reading threads by others in the same boat and thought why don't we all kill our spare time and have a moan together. You never know we might even get the odd parent looking and be 'childless' no more!

Are there any child minders / babysitters in Lee Green (SE12 or SE13) who want to look after a 3yr old girl for a few hours every Wednesday morning and drop her off at nursery at 1pm?
Looking to pay about £6-7 per hour.
Thanks.

leo69 · 29/04/2009 10:31

Is there not a way of setting up a thread purely for searching for a childminder? or has this already been done?
I joined childcare.co.uk site to look for parents and they charge a fee for sending a message to the parents!! so unfair! how will we ever be able to fill our spaces!

shoegal1 · 29/04/2009 14:14

Yeh! Ofsted's accepted DH as my assistant so I can mind more children, that makes it easier to take on someone part-time which I didn't want to do before.
It also means I have MORE VACANCIES

Hi everyone, I will be a registered childminder from mid to late June. I am a primary school teacher (early years specialist) and was rated 'excellent' by Ofsted before leaving the profession to become a mum. Please let me know if you need me in or around Billericay, Essex.
Thank you

minderjinx · 21/05/2009 13:23

Anyone without mindees in or near Wokingham?
One of my part time children (boy 16M) wants a full time place for six weeks but I'm full Monday and Wednesday afternoons 12-3. I have applied for a variation but who knows whether that will be given or when Could meet up and make it a play date if you prefer!

Hi, we are in LEIGHTON BUZZARD and looking for part time help with childcare from next month. We have 2 daughters aged 5 and 2y. We need someone to give the girls breakfast and drop them off at school and nursery 2-3 times/week (you need a car). Tuesday-Thursday, 7.45 a.m. to 9.15 a.m. We can increase the hours if you are happy to do some (light!) housework. Thanks.
