can anyone suggest where I can get cheap craft/creative sets because one mindee only seems to want to do this and its getting so expensive. Any other ideas for a boy aged 5 and a girl aged 6. much appreciated.

Do you have a scrapstore in your area bmz? These are great for art and craft resources.
Your network (?) or preschool alliance (?) or google (!) may tell you, well worth checking out.

I usaully pick things up only when they are on offer and stock up. Shops such as the range, woolworths, poundshops, homebargains, and wilkinsons are all usually well priced and often have sales too.

When I started minding I used to order from baker ross a few times a year but don't bother as much now.
