OFSTED Registered. NCMA Quality Assured
Fully CRB checked, Paediatric First Aid, Studying towards Level 3 Diploma in Home based Childcare trained.
I live in a welcoming home in a nice family orientated cul de sac with large secure garden with lots of activities (slides, Wendy house, swings, Slide, water & Sand table, bouncy castle etc)

I am mummy to 15 month old Thomas and I am a newly registered childminder, but please don't let that put you off!!
I am extremely dedicated to my new role as a childminder and take my responsibilities very seriously whilst at the same time creating a fun stimulating environment.
I believe children should be allowed to be children and develop at their own pace...I love to see the children learn and experience new things and to watch them grow.

I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our home.
Feel free to take a look at my website www.carols-daycare.webs.com

Carol, as you are local to me, I've added you to the list of local childminders on my website - here. With luck that will enable some local parents to find out about you.

For those wondering which Farnborough, Carol is in... she lives in Farnborough, Hampshire.

cat1978 · 22/08/2008 21:33

Hi Nannynick, that's great thank you so much
Sorry I should have said Farnborough in Hampshire... I always forget there's more than one

Thanks again

Hi ya Carol,
I am also trying to fill my vacancies in Farnborough, have you been in contact with any other CM in the area,I called the CM who runs farnborough CM group but didn't get much luck with her she told me its nearly impossible to fill vacancies as there are too many CM - Don't beleive her though just got the feling she didn't want to help. Try putting ad on net mums, also local shops, playcentres and schools! I put ad in Sure start centre in farnborough they were really nice and helpfull!! If you would like to chat more mail me [email protected] would be good to chat to someone else in same position maybe we can bounce some ideas off each other?

Hi Diane
Sorry I haven't logged on for a little while
Yes I would love to catch up for a chat
I will e mail you tomorrow (laptop battery nearly flat and I am far to lazy to get the charger
Thanks for the support, I was actually going to contact the network co ordinator tomorrow, I'll see what she has to say, I hope it isn't true what they say about there being too many childminders in farnborough.
Where are you in farnborough? I'm just off of West heath Road

It's nice to see locals on here
I think that there are quite a lot of childminders in the Farnborough area, but then again the population is quite large as well.
There is a childminders drop in at OWLs Children's Centre - 01252 519920 - at least there was last term. I expect you both know about that already, but if not then do investigate it. Network coordinator will know more for sure.

Diane73 · 03/09/2008 20:53

Hi
did you get any joy with network CM???

cat1978 · 04/09/2008 15:39

Hi I did leave a message for her yesterday but I did pop out so she may have called back when I was out, I did e mail late last night too but nothing as yet. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything

Diane and Carol,
There is a parent asking on NetMums North-Hants Childcare board for a childminder in the Cove area. She has a 17 month old and wants 3 days per week.
Thought you may be interested in knowing that.
