I include lunch in my fee but breakfast and dinner is a further £1.50 per day.

southernbelle77 · 13/08/2008 14:34

snacks are also included in the fee

As some parents prefer to send pack ups and some prefer the convenience of having meals provided I charge separately.

Breakfast £1.40, lunch £

I use one CM who does not provide food at £4 per hour and another who does at £4.50 an hour.

Best to include in the fee or not provide at all to make things simple.

i provide all snacks free eg fruit, juice, milk etc. but if parents want Wholesome homecooked meal eg shepards pie, pasta with veg, chick casserole and pud i charge £1.50. i use as much fresh veg and fruit from my allotment and the children love to help. Parents seem to like this as they can pick up their children fully fuelled especially if been working hard and its late in day. parents are free to provide their own packed lunch.
