Hi i set out an au pair host family agreement which outlines my obligations to the au pair. (nice double room, sat tv, lap top, unlimited broadband, payday friday x amount etc) and her obligations to me outside schedule (no smoking, no downloading porn illegal films / music etc, no mental illness, no drugs). House rules are then just a paragraph relating to keeping room tidy and clean, no visitors overnight and participating in normal activities if she chooses to spend the weeked with us (ie being cheerful and unloading dishwasher etc). I could send you ours but actually sometimes its better to think how do you want this arrangement to go, what would she want out of it and then work back from there.
