childminder v. nursery

I'm sure this will have been done before, but I'd be grateful if anyone could give me theirs thoughts on relative pros and cons of childminder v. nursery.

DD is 20 months and a very happy, easy going child, who seems to mix well and happily goes to other adults, although has never been in childcare.

Nanny or au pair not options.

Also, do prices tend to be the same for both?

Are childminders more flexible about drop off/ pick up times? - eg, if I was working 10am to 2pm, rather than either morning or afternoon like the nursery stipulates?

Thanks!
