New nursery in Jan - can I still apply for funding?!

Hi!

I know we put this off to the last minute but our previous setting proactively helped us so we're at a loss now.

My DD left her nursery last week as we moved, and we are due to start at a new place on 2 Jan. We had 30 hours funding, and it says on the website that the deadline to apply is 31 Dec. Is it too late to do that now? Both nuseries are in the same council.

Thanks so much!

Is your current code not still valid? If so, just give that to your new setting, no need to reapply.

In my la as long as your code is valid and not in grace period you can claim but the setting would have missed their deadline to be paid the January payment so we wouldnt get that money until March. We are allowed to charge the months payment and then refund it when we are paid in March. ....you need to check with your LA
