A childminder I'm intrested in using has a suitable vacancy for my child.

However my work still haven't confirmed the hours I'm doing when I return. My work has said its fine but I have nothing in writing yet and no idea what I'll actually be doing when I return.

Should I phone the CM now or should I wait for confirmation from work?

Phine the CM but tell her exactly what you just wrote here then she will have the full picture, most CMs realise these things take time to sort out, and also she shouldnt expect you to make a decision there and then so that will give you a bit longer to find out more from work, if you dont go and see here and she fills her space you will kick yourself!!!
