Agency recommendations for live in nanny (part time hrs) Hertfordshire

Any recommendations of good reputable agencies?
Ones that cover all around - don’t need to be Hertfordshire based at all.

Have had a part time live in nanny/mothers help candidate but she’s off travelling with her partner soon.

Unfortunately the agency we found each other through weren’t great and only later found out after recommending them to others and their online reviews how bad a rep they really had😬).
(Pay the finders fee, no follow up, weren’t great at matching candidates and families well, just send a load of profiles, hard quick sell, references of candidates usually fake etc) type agency.
Something friend found after I’d recommended them later, which feel awful about. And read and heard on grapevine later that they’re prolific for this type of practice unfortunately. Won’t mention agency here unless it’s not allowed. Was a London based agency.

Part time live in isn’t for everyone I’m aware, but there’s a small portion of candidates that do prefer this. Who don’t want full time hrs so they can enjoy their time doing whatever else. So I know a few will point out ‘you’ll be hard pushed to find someone wanting part time live in’. As from our own experience there are (although a narrower search bracket) some candidates who are looking for this.

So just looking for any good independent portals or good reputable agencies anyone recommends for finding our next candidate.

Thanks x

Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience with an agency. It seems
really common unfortunately. We’re Herts based and have used Abi at Rosebud Nanny Agency a couple of times. She covers Hertfordshire (as well as Bedfordshire and others I think) and is really good. She’s easy to deal with, responsive,
good contacts, good vetting, etc.

I don’t know whether she has any candidates on her books who’d meet your requirements but I’d recommend giving her a try and hopefully she might be able to help.

Hoping this link will work… Good luck!
