After school nannies

Hi,

Looking at our future childcare needs due to changes in working hours. One possible solution is an after school nanny 1 or 2 days per week. Children are older (year 5 and 8). We've seen promising candidates on sites such as childcare.co.uk and Koru Kids, but I'm in the dark about how you pay them. I've read things about registering as an employer, paying national insurance etc, which sounds a bit scary. How does all the admin work? Anybody done it? Got any advice? Or any after school nannies out there, how was payment etc organised between yourself and the family?

Thank you!

You can get companies to do it for you.

Koru Kids organise payment for you.
