pretty please

So my new assessor who I have met once has a new assessor helping her out (long story).

I was told on the phone that until I can get another assessment booked I need to do my development table. I don't know what this is. My new new assessor doesn't even know the course or my progress so couldn't advise and I don't have my portfolio to look it up.

Has anyone done this? Is is unit 303? What do I need to be doing exactly??!

Is it your development chart

Sort of when it happens in each area of development

In my day it was spice - not sure what it is now

Thanks for reply KM.

So just a table of ages and then coloums for physical development, language, emotional etc? That would be ok and straight forward I guess. Do you think that's it KM?

Am feeling really let down by this college, and starting to panic I won't be done with my work in time!

I think we had to put activities in each box?

KaySamuels · 26/05/2008 20:19

Aargh? What do you mean, like rolling a ball crawling? Or not?

I'm sorry I probably look so dim but my mind is not on this and it doesn't help that I am having zero support.

Yep - baby shaking a rattling ball
crawling baby - rolling one
Mover & shakers (is it?) rolling ball for them to follow
??? - back & forwards

Pre-school......
etc??

KaySamuels · 26/05/2008 20:26

Ok thanks katymac, that makes sense.

I will try and get hold of one of my original tutor's replacements tomorrow and ask if this is what I'm meant to be doing. I don't want to spend time doing something without knowing what I'm actually meant to be doing it's ridiculous!

Use the same thing for each age group (within each SPICE) iyswim?

KaySamuels · 26/05/2008 20:31

Yes I do katymac and feel that's do-able, just need to check it's what I am meant to be doing.

Have so much to deal with at the mo I am overstretched and am getting stressed about college when it should be straight forward!

If it's right I might be able to find mine so you can improve it?

KaySamuels · 26/05/2008 20:43

Oh thanks that would be lovely of you if you could find it.

I will add calling college to my increasingly unrealistic to do list! Sigh! and will email you tomorrow when I (hopefully) know more.

How are you doing? Have you got any furter with finding a place?

Found a chapel

Debating if I need an architect or not

KaySamuels · 27/05/2008 20:18

Ooh is it as lovely as it sounds? Usually lovely spaces.

Not had chance to ring college.

I think so - but it needs skill to convert - but I can't afford an architect after last time
