My mat leave brain is overwhelmed and I can’t work out if I’m doing things right.

Need childcare from September. Do I use same gov.uk website and government gateway login to apply for both tax free childcare and funded hours ?

Yes. Same application is for both.

Yes it's all one account. You can apply 30 days before your return to work.
