Gosh, what a wonderful opportunity! You need to speak to Califrau. She'll be able to settle your nerves. I would imagine, its the press that's making you nervous. I live in London, which seems on the face of it a pretty rotten place to live, but its not really.

MaureenMLove · 17/05/2008 12:29

Since you're here, what do you think of my new red shoes? On my profile! Too much for a 40 year old teacher, do you think!

dmo · 17/05/2008 13:51

love the shoes but where is the yellow brick road
what do they speak like in califrau

just thought of something!
maybe if you wear the shoes to work and it all gets to much you could click your heels together and say "i want to go home"
sorry just had to say that

MaureenMLove · 17/05/2008 13:58

I wonder.... So many questions to get answered before you go. It'll be an amazing experience for your boys thoygh. Just the right age to be going to, imho. They'll undoubtedly be upset to leave their friends, but real friends are made at secondary school, I think.

dmo · 17/05/2008 14:11

true already the oldest lad in yr7 has a bunch of new friends and only kept a couple from primary school
