Single mother on Universal Credit with 3 year old

Hi all, I'm a single mother on universal credit and my child turned 3 in December. I've been booked for the Restart Scheme referral & handover at my last appointment and my next appointment is in about a week. Firstly when I left the appointment they sent me a form to sign immediately or I'd be sanctioned. It stated that I would " spend 30 hours a week looking and preparing for work" when everything else I've looked at says 16 hours are required, not 30 hours for single parents of 3 year olds. Secondly, when I go to this referral scheme, I have no idea how it works or what exactly they'll expect me to do. I am also confused if they will expect me to put my child is daycare/nursery immediately and if it'll be funded, or if I need to actually have found a job and be working to put her in 16 hours funded daycare. I have no idea how the system or daycare hours works and would appreciate any help.

Your child will be eligible for 15 hours term time only from January. This is universal for 3 and 4 year olds. Then when you find a job you will be eligible for a further 15 hours per week term time only. If this is before 31st March then that will be from April onwards. If after 31st March then it will be from September onwards. You can use UC or TFC to pay for any outstanding fees.
