if my enhanced dbs came back all clear do i still need to declare my minor convictions from over 10 years ago on the ofsted application

You need to be aware that Ofsted demands to know everything about you, whether you're legally obliged to tell them or not.

It probably won't make any difference to your registration, so long as the convictions are not safeguarding related, but I know of childminders who have been suspended, even lost registrations, because they had not disclosed domestic abuse from years previously, even though they no longer had contact with the abuser.
