Been using tax free childcare for over 2 years with no issue. We then moved to a new nursery and set up tax free childcare with them and we are now having issues with our account for our first payment with them. We sent the money in to our account, it arrived and it was topped up. I then sent the money (double and triple checked that everything was right) to the nursery and never thought about it until now. Nursery never mentioned anything about not getting the money but when we looked at this month's invoice, we had a debit balance brought forward amounting to what we owed last month plus this month's expenses.
Went back to our tax free childcare account to find that the money I had sent was never sent but our balance is now zero. So, the money has disappeared! I immediately told the nursery that we defo sent money to our tax free childcare with the picture of our transaction as proof but clearly, the money did not get sent to them even though I did send it because our balance is currently £0. If that money had not gone out, we would still have that money in our account.
I mean, there is nothing else that we can do at the moment but wait. However, has anyone else had something like this happened to them but it was dealt with promptly?
