Babysitting rates

What is a fair price to pay a babysitter aged 14- more of a companion to a 12 year old? I’ll provide snacks and food and depending on the time may drop the babysitter home. It’s more just to keep my 12 year old company? Thoughts?

Can you just ask the 14 year old what they charge? £10 an hour seems to be the going rate around here.

It’s typically £10 an hour where we are too.

My DD 14 gets £10 an hour looking after neighbours kids, but they are very generous, and the kids are quite small. She has to do prepare simple meals and settle them in bed.
