Hi guys, hope you don't mind me gatecrashing your club. Am returning to childminding in september after 4 years off (kept my registration up tho!) Just wondering what documentation is compulsory now for if/when i have an inspection. I have my reg document, crb check cert, first aid cert and public liability insurance. I have done my policies and am booked on a course in may to receive my pack and learn about EYFS. Is there anything else i might be missing? oh, and i also have my pack from NCMA with all contracts, accident & incident book etc. Any advice will be gratefully received as it seems OFSTED change their mind about things all the time!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Apparently they love to see a comments book i.e. for complaints or compliments. I've got one but no-one's ever written in it! Also a signing in book for mindees and a visitors' book.

However I'm still awaiting my first proper inspection so could be barking up the wrong tree completely.
